Please pray for Crockett today. seizure are back with a vengeance. Haven had an ear infection Monday, and ElizaJane was up during the night with an ear ache, so we are on our way to the Dr. I hate to take Crockett to the Doc for a myriad of reasons(will discuss later), so please pray.

Our Last February Birthday

Four years have flown by and now my baby is not so much a baby anymore. God has chosen us to look after , love, and enjoy the funnest little twink ever, and let me tell you she is chock full of personality and keeps us all laughing. Sooooo Happy Birthday little ElizaJane, and thank you Lord for such a blessing as this!

sanctuary

After the family tragedy of last Tuesday morning, it was a very much appreciated and most welcome Valentines Day surprise when my sweet husband informed me of our totally romantic heart day plans to spend the night HERE, and eat an extremely long five course meal HERE. We had a hugely fabulisciouse time of relaxing, and communicating virtually iinterruption free. The web sites photos most definitely outshine mine, but the Hotels attention to detail was so impressive, that I couldn't resist. In every nook there were beautiful lamps, that first one is a gold gilded turtle. the view of the Ocean from our balcony was phenomenal! There were white orchids on buffet credenzas through out. They were so perfect they looked fake, but I checked. lol. My sweety had these white roses waiting in our room before our arrival. LOVE THAT!!!! I love when he plans ahead. The thought means so much to me. I guess you could say that I'm not a spur of the moment kinda gal. lolThe hotel delivered this to our room as a Valentine's Day gift. So cute! We aren't drinkers, but it was still fun. These next few photos are some of the art work that was in little sitting areas through out the Sanctuary. That was the name of the resort Hotel, and that's definitely what it felt like.

Twenty years

Twenty years ago today, this beautiful baby boy entered my world. I am so grateful for the gift that he is. It really seems like just yesterday that we met, and I cried over the miracle that you were,

You are a big strong guy now. I am still thankful for the gift that he continues to be, and still overwhelmed by the miracle of it all, and so very glad we met! So, a big Happy Birthday going out to "Coda Bean" Your Momma loves you very much!!!!

On a very sad note today, we mourn the loss of my husband's big brother Timothy, who went home to be with the Lord yesterday. He was a good man, and will be missed by many.

Sugar Booger

Wow do I love this man, and I don't know why God thought that I deserved him, but I'm not going to argue about it. I know that it sounds so sappy, but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. What did he do you ask, to deserve this tribute??? Well, 47 years ago today, a baby boy was born, and even though I wasn't even born yet, it was the best thing that ever happened to me! So, Happy Birthday Sweatheart sugar booger. I love you mostest!

Just us Girls

Rediscovered a wonderfully scrumpdilyishis fabric store today. The girls and I tooled over to Summerville, and checked out People Places and Quilts. Loved it, loved the super helpful staff, loved the beautiful old building with heart of pine floors that make you wonder who may have walked there before, loved the hand made wooden manikins with painted on faces, loved the wooden "sale"wagon, loved that they were child friendly and had toys for my little one to be distracted by, loved that they had lots of fantastic sample projects to fawn over and be inspired by, but mostly, I loved the piles of superfragelistic fabric!!!!! So many to drool over, and it was hard to make decisions. This is the splendiferousness I brought home. The girls loved it too! Haven even picked some fabric to make herself a turtle.....more to follow. Follow that with lunch at burger King (Kings Crown, according to ElizaJane) with a huge playground, and we were set! It was a fun afternoon, just us girls, i was very grateful for my girls today, and thanked my heavenly father for such a gift! I look forward to many years of enjoying their company, Lord willing.
