When we cleaned out the garage a few weeks back, I found this thingamajiggy (i'm not really sure what it is, or what to use it for) in one of the many boxes from the move that remained unopened, until I got curious. it's a bit eightyish, but I thought just maybe it had some potential, so I did this...
Nope, still too yesterday......what do you think, any potential, or is it destined for the second hand store?

Does it have a lid or is it just decorative?
Any way you can wipe on some other paint to accent the black? It kind of looks too new with it's fresh coat.
Hmmm - I'm not feeling inspired on any great suggestions either. It's looks like it would be great outside - either functionally or decoratively. Just a thought...
You probably don't want to hear this Amy, but I actually liked it better "au naturel" and I agree with the other comment to see if you can add some more colour over the black....It reminds me of the "William Morris" style with the flourishing leaves....I do like the container itself....is it very big? I also liked the "au naturel" look. Does the top come off? You could use it for so many things if it does.
