What's your word gonna be?
Hello 2011, good to meet ya!
We have been waiting for you, and we are so glad you are finally here!
With you comes a fresh start, a clean slate, a new beginning, and a bright hope!
There is lots in store for you 2011, new adventures to experience, and lessons to learn, hearts to stretch, lives to impact, and truth to impart.
So welcome new friend, lets jump in together to the shiny brightness that comes with a spankin new year, and we'll take it all on together, you and me, come what may, with anticipation and attentive intentionalism.
My word for you 2011, is KINDNESS, simple, but just not enough of it around this big bad world of ours. It is so worthy of a year to major on it, dwell on it, preach it, teach it, and practise it, paint it on the wall, and even harp on it if need be, because kindness begets kindness. That's what they say isn't it? And we can all use more, to both get and to give, can't we?
So you and me 2011, killing our world with kindness, together!
Be kind to each other, tender hearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

I love it. A GREAT word for the new year. This time last year i wanted to focus on Holiness. God gave many opportunities to practice this in difficult circumstances. I failed some, some awful bad, others i did ok. Only by His grace though and only then when i yielded to it. For this year when i think what i want to focus on and practice, i get a fearful knowing He will give me opportunity. Contentment. God is good, life is hard, i want to trust Him in all things. Now, it is out there. Whatever our focus know that God loves us enough to want to help us in that area, that means He will give us opportunity. Yikes, does that make me think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
