punch buggy no punch back!

I recently spied this cutie in a parking lot while shopping in Pine Mountain. Isn't it just so festive with it's big reindeer nose? I so wished my kiddos were with me to see it. We have always played the punch buggy no punch back game. Since they weren't there to see it, I shamelessly snapped some pictures! I thought you all might enjoy a look see too!

Can you see the reindeer horns ?

Here is a close up of the fun things strapped to the top! Vintage at it's very best!

I have never decorated my car for the holidays, have you, or have you seen anything original yourself on a car lately?

Just the other day I saw a BMW with the red nose and antlers. It also had vinyl cling stickers all over the side and back windows. It also had about fifteen stuffed Christmas animals (think Belkie Bear) looking out of the rear window.

The driver was a little lady with bleach blond hair talking on the phone while driving way too slowly in front of me. I'll just bet she had rings on every finger and wears lots of animal prints. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Hey Amy, I'm glad to see you're blogging again. I needed the craft inspiration you bring ;)

The car is so funny (in a very happy and festive way!)
Actually about three days ago I was in the car with my mom and a Clemson orange Volkswagon, complete with tiger paw and all, pulled up at a red light beside us.
I took a picture too! Great minds think alike!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I'm so sorry about the loss of your son. I totally get what you said -- it's hard not to take that stuff personally when you're at your weakest.

Your blog is very cute! I haven't seen any really original car decor this year... just the usual red noses and wreaths. I don't decorate our cars. This year I didn't even decorate outside. Just couldn't bring myself to do it. I think the kids have gotten over it now!

VW's always make me feel...um...not great. My mom had a bright yellow VW bug from the time I was 5 until I was 16. It does not make for a pleasant teenage experience when your mom drives a bug your whole life. I mean, this was waaayyy before bugs were cool, ya' know? My kids are so jealous of me riding around in a bug all of my childhood. I tell them not to be- no a/c, along with a black vinyl interior, set in the lowcountry of SC, makes for some miserable summer rides!! I STILL hate for my legs to stick to the seat of a car!!

Many years ago my parents had a VW almost similar to this one. Oh, I'm getting old.... The VW you spotted makes me smile.
